” Shard and the City ”

In September I was asked to undertake a commission for a City of London partnership of Chartered Environmental Consultants specialising in urban regeneration and property development projects in the UK. The Shard was a project they had been actively involved with at detailed planning stage and my brief was to paint a panoramic citiscape spanning the River Thames. This needed to incorporate the Shard and the prominent central city core buildings.

Sherborne Open Exhibition 2016

I submitted one painting with was selected and exhibited at Sherborne. It was a 30 x 40 inch oil painting on canvas, titled “Daybreak, Sandbanks, Poole Harbour” The painting was SOLD during the Exhibition and it was also awarded the VISITOR’S CHOICE prize for the most popular painting out of more than 300 exhibits.
