Seascapes

Our coastline in Southern England provides me with endless inspiration. This is especially so when out walking sections of our famous UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast between the entrance to Poole Harbour and Charmouth. The landscape is stunning and varied with steep cliffs separating land from sea, wide sand and rocky bays, small coves and volcanic ledges which extend out to sea . There are fascinating geological formations to be seen together with the remains of old industries and mining operations to explore. The sea constantly changes with wind and tide in different seasons and times of day and the cloud formations can be magnificent. Far too much interest for considerably more than a lifetime of challenging work.
